A Kansas man was killed in a single-vehicle accident in Woodson County. Kansas Highway Patrol officials say it happened at approximately 10 a.m. Sunday on U.S. 54 about 11 miles west of Yates Center.
Investigators say Roscoe Rash, 83, of Toronto, was driving westbound on U.S. 54 when something caused him to veer his pickup truck off the road. He overcorrected and rolled his vehicle.
Rash was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected. He later died from his injuries.
There were no passengers in the truck and other vehicles were involved. The accident is under investigation.
