A Dexter woman was killed in a crash on K-15 Tuesday in Cowley County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reports that 36-year-old Brandie Owen was driving north on K-15 about 2 miles west of Dexter when for an unknown reason she drifted into the East ditch, and over-corrected. Her car rolled several times, coming to a rest in the south ditch.

Owen died at the scene. Two children ages 4 and 11 who were inside the car were taken to William Newton Memorial Hospital with injuries.
