Deputies Seek Box Truck That May Be Connected To Burglaries

The Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office is urging residents to keep their eyes open for a vehicle that may be connected to recent burglaries.

A yellow-colored box truck has been spotted nearby several burglaries that have happened recently across Sedgwick County. Most of the burglaries have targeted homes, with one loss that was estimated at over $19,000.

There are 7 burglaries in all, but deputies say, vehicles that were left stranded by the recent snow storms, may have been targeted as well. The sheriff's office says in each case, a yellow box truck was spotted nearby, but homeowners weren't reporting the suspicious vehicle until after the burglaries had taken place.

Anyone who may have information about the case is urged to contact 911.
