Wichita police have arrested a man who tried to pay for a pizza with drugs.
It happened at a motel in the 2300 block of S. Broadway Monday night. A Pizza Hut employee told police she was delivering a pizza to a customer staying at the motel. In exchange for the pizza, the 22-year-old woman received cash, and a bag of meth, authorities said.
The delivery driver called police to report the incident. Officers arrested the man for possession of marijuana, methamphetamines and other narcotics.
Jail records indicate Gerald Evans, 35, was booked into the Sedgwick County Detention Center on multiple drug charges.
