Police have caught a thief they believe is behind several recent break-ins in the Riverside area.
Mark Kinast is suspected in the rash of burglaries. Officials say he burglarized at least 18 different sheds and garages in this area over the last few weeks, then sold the lawn equipment he stole.
In response to these break-ins and other similar crimes in the neighborhood, residents in the area have gathered for series of police impact meetings. Tips from neighbors helped police arrest Kinast.
Police want to remind people that if you see someone who looks suspicious or doesn't belong in your neighborhood, call 911 right away.
