Wichita police are asking for help finding a suspect wanted in a recent bank robbery.
It happened at the Fidelity Bank, 7711 E. Harry, May 31.
Authorities said a man entered the bank, gave the teller a note indicating he was robbing the bank, and showed a handgun sticking out of his waistband. He left with cash, and was last seen heading southwest from the bank.
He is described as a white male in his late 20s to early 30s; 5'10" to 6' tall; 160 to 180 pounds; clean shaven; and wearing glasses, black athletic shorts, a black jacket with white stripes down the sleeves, and a black ball cap on backwards.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 267-2111. An anonymous tip can also be submitted via text message, by texting TIP217, then your message to CRIMES (274637). All ways are secure and anonymous. If your tip leads to an arrest you may be eligible for a cash reward up to $1,000, and Crime Stoppers will never ask your name.
