Wednesday 9:40 a.m. 1000 N. Piatt 74 year old man said someone, possible a nephew, taking a gun from the bottom of the china closet at his home. The gun is an antique handgun, with a cracked revolver cylinder. The man refused to name his nephew because"he would just lie about taking it anyway". The man wants the gun back because it's been in his family since before he was born.

Wednesday 11:00 a.m. 600 E. 47th South. 20-year-old man accidentally shot himself in the right hand while cleaning his .44 caliber handgun. The man suffered a minor wound.

Wednesday 12:06 p.m. 2600 W. May A man came on to a business lot without permission and loaded up scrap metal. The man was confronted by employees. He was told to unload what had already been placed in the van and get off the property.
