Tuesday 7:39 a.m. 2600 N. Grove. 23-year-old man reports someone cutting wiring to six video surveillance cameras at his home. The cameras may have caught personal disputes with the suspect on tape. The two had an incident Monday night.

Tuesday 8:16 a.m. 200 S. Walnut. Woman reports someone broke beer bottles and flourecent light tubes on her driveway, possibly in retaliation for a police call she made last week regarding drinking on the property. A police officer reported the men had a right to be on the property because it's a community garden.

Tuesday 10:14 a.m. 11500 W. Sheriac. Woman reports finding backpacks containing miscellaneous tools, electronic and other items. The property found ties into items taken from larcenies in the area which were returned to their owners.

Tuesday 12:34 p.m. 200 S. Ridgewood. Woman reports receiving approximately 20 phone calls in the past 24 hours from an unknown caller who doesn't say anything or leave messages. The woman does not have caller ID.

Tuesday 5:00 p.m. 2600 W. 9th. 27-year-old woman said she was hit, kicked and had oil thrown on her during a fight. A suspect was booked for domestic violence battery.

Tuesday 8:19 p.m. 4400 S. Broadway. 29-year-old woman tells officers her husband threw a 2 liter bottle of soda over his shoulders, hitting her in the right eye and breaking her glass. She suffered swelling and scratches. He was arrested for domestic violence battery.
