WICHITA, Kan Tuesday 1:06 2800 N. Broadway

A woman reports someone took her vehicle while she was inside eating lunch. The vehicle had the keys in it because she was charging her husband's cell phone.

Tuesday 3:30 p.m. 4600 S. Gold

Police say a man smashed down a 6x8 section of privacy fence with his body in an attempt to elude officers, because the man did not want to go to jail.

Tuesday 5:42 p.m. 600 N. New York

A man reports an unknown person called him and said the "light company" needed to make repairs on his home. In order to do so the homeowner needed to prepay by buying a green dot prepaid card, then calling back with the PIN and card numbers. The man did it and was told the card didn't go through, so he needed to get another card and repeat the process. The man repeated the process four times.

Tuesday 9:23 p.m. 3200 N. Porter

A man looks out and sees the dome light on in his vehicle. When he went outside and unknown person ran from near the vehicle and fell while crossing a ditch. The person dropped a bottle of antifreeze. No damage was reported to the vehicle.
