Monday 8:50 a.m. 1300 W. 51st South
Man tells police an acquaintence is threatening to send his friend to shoot up his house if his dog is not returned to him. The victim states both men were in a gym and the suspect couldn't pay his fees so he gave him his dog. The victim says the gym closed so the suspect requested money as well. The victim said he gave the suspect some money and thought the matter was closed until he heard from the suspect.
Monday 12:04 p.m. 400 N. Pamela. 48-year-old man tells police someone entered his unlocked vehicle and stole some items. The victim believes whoever did it was riding a bicycle because there are tire tracks in his yard.
Monday 1:31 p.m. North High School. Reporting party said he suspected a student was under the influence of drugs do to his actions in class. A search of the student revealed a "brown wrapped marijuana joint". The student said he took it out of another student's backpack and kept it.
Monday 1:46 p.m. 79-year-old man reports getting a call saying he was getting computer errors and they could be fixed for a fee. The victim said the further they went in the process the more expensive it got. The victim stated he may have given out more information than he should have.
Monday 2:10 p.m. 7000 E. Aberdeen. 19-year-old woman reports a man picked her up with both arms and squeezed her until her back popped, causing her to fall to the floor. He then shoved her across the room, where she hit her back on a china hutch. The man was arrested for battery.
Monday 3:22 p.m. 3100 N. Woodland. 67-year-old man fell from his ladder while trimming his tree. The man sustained a broken femur and facial fractures.
Monday 4:05 p.m. 1500 S. Laura 55-year-old man reports a suspect attempting to obtain electricity for his apartment and broke the glass on the electric meter.
