Wednesday 9:56 a.m. 1300 E. Douglas. Car dealership reports the theft of a truck. The truck has GPS. The reporting party checked the GPS to find an address. Minutes later the truck had been moved and then the GPS went dead.
Wednesday 10:00 a.m. 700 S. Broadview. Reporting party evicted a person from his property. During the cleaning he found a small amount of "green botanical substance" in a kitchen drawer. It was submitted to police.
Wednesday 11:21 a.m. 700 E. Bayley. 21-year-old man reports someone cut the copper tube that connects the exterior air conditioning unit to the house. The house is in the process of being remodeled. The man told officers he installed a motion detecting flood light earlier this week. The flood light did not come on when he found the damaged air conditioner. The man discovered the light bulbs had been unscrewed.
Wednesday 12:50 p.m. 3400 W. Turkey Run. A person shows up to test drive a motorcycle that's for sale. A few minutes later the motorcycle owner hears a truck start and the motorcycle is gone. The motorcycle is all black with a black windshield. There are bullet hole stickers covering some scratches on the frame.
Wednesday 4:43 p.m. 12100 W. Autumn Ridge. 39-year-old woman reports finding opened mail in her mailbox. She receives mail in a locked box at her residence.
Wednesday 6:22 p.m. 700 W. 13th North. 34-year-old man told police officers his wife struck him with a brick, causing minor injuries. Arrest made for domestic violence battery.
Wednesday 6:43 p.m. 5100 S. Hydraulic. 48-year-old woman reports a man knocked on her door saying he was with the Census Bureau. She told him to come back another day. The man showed up again, but the woman told him she was just leaving. The man reportedly told the woman she would have "more trouble than she could imagine" if she didn't complete his survey.
