Crime Stoppers of Wichita/Sedgwick County today announced it has approved a reward payment of $1,000 to the tipster who provided information that led to arrests in a vehicular hit-and-run fatality.
Lloyd Ferguson was killed and a child injured when the horse they were riding was struck by a vehicle on July 5th in northeast Wichita. It was a tip to Crime Stoppers in late July that led to arrests in the case.
Anyone with information about a felony crime should call Crime Stoppers at 316-267-2111 to leave a tip. Tips can also be sent to Crime Stoppers by cell phone text message by texting CRIMES (274637) and beginning their message with TIP217. Tips can also be submitted on the Crime Stoppers website at www.wsccs.com. All ways are safe and anonymous.
