The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office is looking for your help in catching some burglars who broke into a rural storage building.

Between 2 and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 21, a residential storage building in the 9300 block of North 135 Street West was burglarized.

The suspect took a box of collectable figurines, household appliances and miscellaneous electronics. An antique 1958 Ford truck was also taken. It had to be towed, because it didn’t run. It is green with some orange spots on it. Loss is valued at more than $11,000.

If you have information about this theft or any felony crime, call Crime Stoppers at (316) 267-2111. You can also submit a tip online at kake.com or from your mobile phone by texting “TIP217” then your message to CRIMES (274637).

All ways are secure and anonymous. If your tip leads to an arrest, you may be eligible for a cash reward up to $1,000, and Crime Stoppers will never ask your name.
