Wichita, Kan. -- Police are asking for your help identifying a copper thief who stole from a downtown Wichita church.

It happened October 5th at The Greater Pentecostal Church of God in Christ in the 700 block of N. Cleveland.

Church members installed security cameras after they were hit by copper thieves for the first time a year ago. When it happened again a month ago, they caught the thief on camera.

"We were very surprised the thief would steal from the house of God, a place of worship. People used to have a little more respect for the house of God,” Church Administrator Keston Rolfe said.

If you have any information on the crime you're asked to call Wichita Police detectives at 268-4234 or you can email them at
