WICHITA, Kan. — Police are looking for a suspect after a southeast Wichita convenience store was robbed Monday morning.

It happened at 9 a.m. at D&T gas station and convenience store at 895 S. Woodlawn, near Lincoln.

A suspect reportedly walked into the store with three customers inside, put a gun to the head of the 74-year-old clerk and demanded money. He then took the cash, put it in his pocket and ran from the building. No one was hurt.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 30s or 40s, about 6 feet tall with a heavy build. He was wearing a red plaid jacket with a hood, black pants and gloves. He had a black bandana over his face.

He was seen by a neighboring business getting into the passenger seat of a 2000 white four-door Buick sedan.
