WICHITA, Kan. -- The City of Wichita is asking residents to give their input on the future of O.J. Watson Park.
The south Wichita park sits on 119 acres along the Arkansas River and includes a 40-acre lake for fishing and pedal boats. It also has miniature golf, train rides pony rides, volleyball and picnicking.
Now, city officials are asking residents to help plan for the future of the park by hosting a community meeting this weekend. The meeting is Saturday, December 7 from 3 to 4:30 in the community facility at the park, located at 3022 South McLean. There will be 15-minute walking tours at 3:10, 3:50 and 4:10 p.m.
