The Kansas Highway Patrol tells KAKE News that the 6 year-old boy injured in a roll-over accident Saturday afternoon at K-96 and Hillside has died.

6 year-old Cryisol Hall was transported to Wesley Medical Center in critical condition following the accident that also critically injured his mother and two other children.

Cryisol passed away late Sunday morning. The circumstances surrounding the accident remain under investigation.

A mother and 6-year-old boy who were injured in a rollover accident on a northeast Wichita highway Saturday afternoon remain in critical condition.

Crystal Ross, 32, and Cryisol Hall were among four hospitalized after the crash Saturday afternoon on K-96 at Hillside. Wesley Medical Center staff said Sunday morning that the two are still in critical condition. Information regarding the other two was not available.

The crash remains under investigation.

A mother and 6 year-old boy injured in a roll-over accident in NE Wichita remain in critical condition.

The Kansas Highway Patrol identifies them as 32 year-old Crystal Ross and 6 year-old Cryisol Hall. The hospital did not have condition information for the two other children.

They are identified as 12 year-old Antwain Thomas and 8 year-old Trillion Ross. All four are from Wichita.

No other vehicles were involved in the accident, which remains under investigation.



UPDATE: 4:00 p.m., Saturday, January 26, 2013

The Kansas Highway Patrol says three children were hurt, one of them critically after an accident at K-96 and Hillside.

Trooper John Mayer said a woman was driving west on K-96 with her 3 children when she tried to exit too quickly at Hillside. Mayer said the woman drove through the grassy space between K-96 and and the exit ramp, nearly missing the sign, before losing control and rolling the vehicle.

The woman and an 8 year-old child were taken in critical condition to the hospital. Their current conditions are unknown. The other two children were taken to the hospital with potentially serious condition.

Wichita Police and emergency personnel are on the scene of a roll-over accident in NE Wichita that has injured four people.

It happened shortly after 3:15 Saturday afternoon on the offramp of K-96 at Hillside. Police have not released any details, but traffic with 911 indicated that an 8 year-old boy was transported to Wesley Medical Center in very critical condition.

A 30 year-old woman believed to be driving the vehicle was taken to the hospital in critical condition. An 8 year-old and a 12 year-old boy were taken to the hospital in serious condition.
