Charges filed in crash that injured McPherson teacher

McPherson, Kan. -- Criminal charges have been filed in a crash that left a McPherson teacher injured.

The McPherson County Attorney filed charges of aggravated battery while DUI against Jeffrey Paul Davis.

Davis is accused of causing the December 20, 2013 accident that left two women injured. Teacher Mija Stockman suffered a traumatic brain injury.

She was on her way to school when the accident happened. Stockman is being treated at a rehabilitation hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Davis' bond is set at $25,000.
