Wichita police are investigating after a driver said his vehicle was hit by gunfire Wednesday evening. The incident was reported at 8:00 p.m. on Kellogg near Webb Road.

A 28-year-old man told police he was driving when he saw four people in a green Toyota Camry throw trash out of the window. The driver motioned to the men and one of the people in the Camry fired at least two shots at the man's vehicle. One of the shots hit the rear door on the driver's side.

The victim drove across Kellogg before stopping at Patrol West on Central Avenue to report the incident. While there he decided he wouldn't cooperate with police.
