A woman is recovering from injuries after an accident in Reno County.
It happened near Kent Rd. and 43rd Ave. around 6:30 p.m. Monday.
The Reno County Sheriff's Department said Russell Farris Jr., 59, of Hutchinson was driving south on Kent Rd., when he failed to yield to a westbound car. His pickup truck struck the left-side of the car, pushing it into a barbed wire fence.
Farris was not seriously hurt and refused treatment. Steven Murry, 49, of Buhler, was taken to Hutchinson Regional Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A passenger, 32-year-old Monica Murray, was pinned inside the vehicle had to be extricated. She was flown to a Wichita hospital for treatment. Hospital officials said she remains in good condition.
Investigators said all were wearing a seat belt. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
