Wichita Police say they arrested a group of men after a neighbor spotted them severely beating someone.
It happened shortly before 12:30 p.m. Thursday in the 1700 block of South Roanoke, near Harry and Edgemoor. Sgt. Bruce Watts says an elderly called 911 after seeing a man being severely beaten by a group of 5 men inside of a garage, who then closed the door.
When officers arrived, the found a man walking from the back of the home, carrying a bag containing zip ties, gloves and large brass knuckles. Sgt. Watts says it took a while for the people inside the house to come out, but eventually a group of men filed outside.
Inside the home, police found a woman curled up in the fetal position and the victim, who had been severely beaten, lying on the garage floor.
"We ended up taking a total of 7 people to investigations. None of the 7 people spoke or talked to us. We believe they are all white supremacists." says Watts.
Police say the woman and the victim are also not cooperating with the investigation. Watts says they do believe the victim, who refused medical treatment, is also a white supremacist.
