WICHITA, Kan. — Wichita police have arrested a man in connection to a bank robbery that happened earlier this week.

Officers had been searching for a suspect after a south Wichita Emprise Bank branch was robbed Tuesday morning.

On Thursday, police arrested 51-year-old Mark A. Finnigin. He was booked for robbery of a financial institution and resisting arrest.

He's previously served time on burglary, theft and drug convictions.

Emprise Bank, located at 2323 S. Hydraulic, was robbed shortly before 10 a.m. Tuesday.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 40s or 50s, about 5-feet, 7-inches tall and 160 pounds. He had a mustache and was wearing a white button-down shirt, white baseball cap and blue jeans.

He drove away northbound in a gold minivan, possibly a Toyota Sienna.
