WICHITA, Kan. — Police are on scene of a bank robbery in downtown Wichita.
The robbery happened shortly before 9:30 Wednesday morning at Fidelity Bank, located at 100 E. English.
According to police, a man walked into the bank and handed the teller a note demanding money. The suspect took the cash and left, heading east toward Broadway.
There was one customer and four employees inside the bank at the time. Only two tellers saw the suspect. No one was hurt.
The suspect is described as a black male in his 20s, about 5-feet, 8-inches tall with a slender build. He was clean-shaven, wearing a gray hoodie and a dark stocking cap.
Police are reviewing surveillance video.
