GODDARD, Kan. — A visit to Tanganyika Wildlife Park in Goddard this week is putting two babies on the international spotlight.
"I knew it was an adorable picture but it's just kind of went crazy," said Angela Widener, mother.
Photos have gone viral of nine-weeks-old Finley sleeping with a baby lemur on her head.
Widener took her children to the interactive zoo this week and visited the lemur exhibit. Since strollers are not allowed inside, Widener took the carrier off the stroller and set the stroller on the ground as she took photos of her older children.
Finley kept sleeping as the baby lemur sat on her head and played with her toys.
"The zookeeper reassured me that she was okay and I know how friendly they are so I thought it was fine," she said.
After a few snapshots, the baby lemur crawled down and sat beside Finley before leaving the group.
