UPDATE: January 24, 2013

Firefighters have left the scene of yesterday's fire at Hanna Heating and Air on North West Street, after several hours of checking on hot spots.

According to investigators, there's too much damage inside to find what started the fire.

Findings will now be handed over to Hanna's insurance company, which could start its own investigation into the cause.

The fire caused an estimated one million dollars in damage.

The company is staying open despite the fire by receiving products from suppliers and working around the damage.
Other locations in Andover and Newton also remain open to customers.

The fire is now under control at Hanna Heating and Air in west Wichita.

The fire broke out around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at Hanna Heating and Air, located at 220 N. West St. Initial crews arriving reported seeing heavy smoke and flames.

Crews had to go defensive on the fire, meaning all firefighters were pulled out of the structure to fight it from the outside. They also called for additional help.
