Two people were hurt Wednesday in an accident involving a fire truck in east Wichita.
It happened around 9:20 a.m. at Kellogg and Rock.
According to Wichita Police, an ambulance and fire unit were heading east on Kellogg to a medical call. The ambulance cleared the intersection at Rock but as the fire truck was going through, it collided with a northbound car.
A firefighter, along with the driver of the other car suffered minor injuries.
The accident is under investigation, but both emergency vehicles were operating with lights and sirens at the time of the crash.
