Wichita Police continue to search for the suspect who robbed an area bank Wednesday afternoon.

Just before 1 p.m. yesterday, a man entered the Dillons store at 3211 S. Seneca and walked over to the INTRUST Bank branch inside. He handed the teller a note demanding money. He left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Thursday morning, police released details concerning the suspect's description: He's described as a white male in his 40s, approximately 5-feet seven to 5-feet eight inches tall with long graying brown hair and a beard.

He was wearing a winter-style coat and a New Orleans Saints baseball cap with sunglasses on top. He left in a small red car.

Wichita Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the man. Anyone with information is asked to call police or the FBI.

Wichita Police are searching for the person who held up a local bank this afternoon. The robbery was reported before 1:00 p.m. at the Intrust Bank branch inside Dillons at 31st South & Seneca.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 40's. He is five-feet seven to five-feet eight inches tall with a small build. The man has a goatee and mustache and was wearing a New Orleans Saints baseball cap with sunglasses on top.

He may have left the scene in a dark red four-door sedan.
