BBB: Use Caution When Buying From Unfamiliar Online Companies
The Better Business Bureau says consumers should be suspicious when businesses require cash or other non-traceable money transfers.

The Better Business Bureau is warning consumers to be cautious when buying from unfamiliar online companies.

A discount website called “myliquidationoutlet.com” is advertising with the BBB seal. But the agency said the online company is not BBB accredited.

Officials said consumers notified the Better Business Bureau after trying to buy items on Craigslist. Shoppers were redirected to the website from Craigslist for payment. Myliquidation.com asks consumers to purchase a a Green Dot Money Pak cash card or pay through Google Checkout.
