The autopsy report has been released on the man who was killed after holding police at bay for nearly 32 hours last month.

On the afternoon of July 10, 24-year-old Jared Lee Woosypiti walked into Kmart at 47th Street South and Broadway and attempted to rob the pharmacy of prescription medication. When employees refused to give him drugs, he fired several shots and fled to a nearby apartment complex in the 4100 block of South Seneca. After a nearly 32-hour standoff, he was shot and killed by officers.

Before the standoff, police had already been searching for Woosypiti for stabbing his girlfriend in Derby on July 4.

The autopsy report, completed earlier this month, said Woosypiti was shot four times: in the back, in the right flank, in the upper abdomen and his right leg.

The report also says he was intoxicated with Hydrocodone and methanphetamine at the time of his death. The report in its entirety can be viewed by clicking here.
