WICHITA, Kan. — Police are looking for the person who robbed a southeast Wichita auto parts store Tuesday, and believe he may be connected to other recent crimes..
It happened at O'Reilly Auto Parts in the 4800 block of East Lincoln.
Just after 8 p.m. Tuesday, a man wearing a bandana over his face walked in with a gun and ordered the three employees to the floor. He then told one of them to open the safe.
After the suspect took the cash, he ran from the store. No one was hurt.
The suspect is described as a black male, about five-feet-six to five-feet-seven. He was wearing a black hoodie, a camouflage bandana, dark gloves and was carrying a black handgun.
Officers believe the same suspect has robbed at least five businesses in Wichita recently. Anyone with information is asked to call police.
