An Arkansas City man accused of raping and beating an Oklahoma woman has been arrested.
Police say the woman reported the incident to them on Sunday. She says on Sept. 3., Beldenson Absalon Castanon-Barrios, 22, attacker her outside an Arkansas City home.
She told investigators Castanon-Barrios held her against her will while sexually assaulting and beating her. She says Castanon-Barrios is her ex-boyfriend.
On Monday, police interviewed Castanon-Barrios and arrested him on charges of Rape, Aggravated Battery, and Criminal Restraint. He is currently in jail on a $13,500 bond.
