Ark City Man Accused Of Sex Crimes Against Children
The man was arrested Wednesday. He is out of jail on bond.

Arkansas City Police earlier this week arrested a 47-year-old man they suspect of committing several sex crimes, including some against children.

Police Chief Sean Wallace says Jeffery Allen Holmes, who has addresses in Ark City and Independence, Kan., was arrested Wednesday afternoon. He was booked into the Cowley County Jail on three counts of rape, two counts of criminal sodomy, five counts of indecent solicitation of a child, one count of electronic solicitation of a child, two counts of sexual exploitation of a child, two counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child and five counts of lewd and lascivious behavior.

Holmes is currently out of jail on $83,750 bond.
