Police: Argument Leads To North Wichita Shooting

Wichita police say an argument let to two men being shot early Sunday morning in north Wichita.

It happened around 3:30 a.m. in the 2100 block of Park Place, near 21st Street North and Broadway. According to police, two men in their early 20s were walking to a vehicle when they were approached by two other men. They got into an argument, and one of the suspects pulled a handgun and began firing.

One victims was shot in the stomach, left leg and left foot. The other victim suffered a gunshot wound to his hand. They were taken by private vehicle to Via Christi on St. Francis. Neither victims' wounds are considered life-threatening.

No arrests have been made, and suspect descriptions were not available.
