Active weather pattern may bring more severe storms to KAKEland

WICHITA, Kan. -- An active weather pattern will bring another chance of severe weather to KAKEland. During the afternoon and evening, shower and storms development along the Kansas-Oklahoma state line will be possible. Storms that develop could quickly turn severe with large hail, high wind and possible brief tornadoes.

Overnight into the early morning, all eyes will be on activity rolling our of Colorado. Storms could once again fire up in Eastern Colorado and track across Southern Kansas. If this occurs, storms could once again impact Wichita and South Central Kansas toward morning.

The active weather pattern will bring more severe weather chances to KAKEland on Friday. Stay tuned for updates.
