AG sues door-to-door paving company

TOPEKA, Kan The Kansas Attorney General today announced his office has filed a lawsuit against a door-to-door paving group operating in Rawlins County. Derek Schmidt is asking consumers who have interacted with the company for assistance in the investigation.

Will J. Harrison, Jr., doing business as Wester Construction and Will Harrison Paving, is being investigated for alleged violations of the Kansas Consumer Protection Act in a door-to-door driveway paving operation.

The Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Division received a complaint from a consumer in Rawlins County regarding the practices of these individuals.

Consumers who have done business with these individuals or any of their associated companies are encouraged to contact the Attorney General’s Office by calling 1-800-432-2310 or by filing a complaint online at
