One Killed When Motor Home, Semi Collide

One person was killed when a motor home and semi collided in Northwest Kansas. The accident happened Wednesday afternoon on US Highway 83 in Sheridan County, three miles northeast of Selden.
Kansas Highway Patrol troopers said a motor home driven by Carl Jonas, 86, of Pahrump, NV, failed to stop at an intersection and was struck by a semi. Jonas died in the crash. A passenger in the motor home, May Jonas, 72, was taken to Sheridan County Medical Center.
The truck driver, Daniel Smith of Wiley, Colorado went to a Colby hospital for treatment.
