Karen's 44-year-old son Steve got on his bike Saturday afternoon to go to Conoco. Everything was fine until he approached a black pit bull near Allison Middle School. Karen says, "When he was going by Allison School the pit bull came straight at him, knocked him off his bike, got him on the ground and was going to his face."
Steve was able to get the pit bull off him by hitting the dog in the face, but not before the dog did some serious damage. Steve had two deep lacerations on his face and had to undergo surgery Saturday night.
Now Steve is concerned the pit bull will try to attack again. He says he's worried the students attending Allison Middle School could get hurt by the dog.
