Fatal Crash Shuts Down NE Kansas Highway

The Kansas Highway Patrol says Jonathan Kaspar, 20, of Topeka, died early Friday morning in an accident on Highway 75 just south of Lyndon.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol the wreck happened just after midnight Friday morning. Officials say Kaspar's 1997 Lexus crossed the center line and was hit by a semi-trailer carrying cattle.

Authorities say they plan to reopen Highway 75 between 9:30 and 10 a.m.
