Officers of the El Dorado Police Department responded to reports of two hit & run accidents early Wednesday morning. Two west-side, El Dorado businesses reported damage to buildings from apparent vehicle strikes. Officers were given information of a possible suspect and description of the vehicle.
At about 10:00 am Wednesday morning, officers discovered what they believed to be the vehicle used in the accidents located near Kansas and Washington streets. Upon approaching the vehicle to examine it for damage, officers observed an apparently deceased female in that vehicle, a white Ford pick-up.
The deceased was identified was 34-year-old Kelly Skipper of Leon. The deceased was transported to Wichita for autopsy; including toxicological examination. Preliminary investigation revealed no trauma or suspicious activity. The El Dorado police investigation continues with interviewing witnesses and persons known to have last been with the subject.
