K-State/Xavier Gametime Announced
K-State will meet Xavier Thursday night in the Sweet 16.

The Kansas State Wildcats will meet the Xavier Musketeers in the West Regional Semifinal at 8:37 Thursday night at the Energy Solutions Arena in Salt Lake City.
This will be the Wildcats first trip to the Sweet 16 since 1988, when they fell to eventual National Champion Kansas in the Regional Final.
Second seeded K-State defeated North Texas and BYU in the first two rounds in Oklahoma City. Sixth seeded Xavier defeated Minnesota and Pittsburgh in the first two rounds in Milwaukee.
These two teams met earlier this season with K-State winning easily 71-56 at Bramlage Coliseum on Dec 8.
