Sports fans aren't the only ones betting on the outcome of Saturday's games involving K-State and KU. Some area sporting goods stores are taking their chances and pre-ordering Sweet 16 merchandise, confident the Wildcats and Jayhawks will advance to the next round.

At All Sports on the corner of Central & Tyler, owner Randy Staub is hoping to have Sweet 16 gear on his shelves by Monday. He says it's been a busy five days, with a steady stream of customers and increasing sales since KU and K-State played each other in the Big 12 last week.

Staub says he had to order in advance if he was to have gear in place for the next business day should K-State and KU win their respective games. He says most team shirt manufacturers will put a rush on making Sweet 16 memorabilia Saturday night, once the games end.

Staub placed what's called an "If Win" order, meaning if one or both teams don't advance to the Sweet 16, shirts won't be made and he won't be charged.
