Funds Set up For Children Killed in Mulvane Accident

A tragic highway accident west of Mulvane Saturday left two children dead. Three others were injured.
Deputies say a pickup truck was headed eastbound and ran a stop sign. An SUV was struck broadside by the pickup truck. All five of the injured people were riding in the SUV.
Deputies identify the two fatalities as 10 year-old Katherine Tredway, of Wellington, and 11 year-old Thomas Alexander, of Louisiana.

The other three victims were transported to a Wichita hospital, but their injuries are said not to be life threatening.
