The body of a newborn infant has been found in a ravine behind a Junction City apartment complex.
Junction City police received a call Saturday afternoon that someone had discovered the body.
Police said in a news release that authorities planned to perform an autopsy on the baby boy to determine the cause of death.
It appears the baby was born recently and was full term.
Police are asking the public for help locating the mother.
