The City of Wichita is hoping to get a boost in revenue from unwanted items.

Police cars, fire engines, and even lawn mowers, are all up on an internet auction block. Saturday, organizers allowed people to stop by and get a look at some of the city's used cars and equipment. Workers say this month's sale is smaller than most, as the city hasn't replaced much equipment in recent months.

"There's a lawn mower, there are some vehicles, we've got some fire trucks, and some buses here on the other side... just equipment that has been traded out through the years and needs to be replaced," said City of Wichita Mechanic Supervisor Steve Mattke.

Organizers say the city began doing an online auction several years ago, which increased interest in the sale. The city is allowing people to come see and test the equipment again on Saturday, March 20th, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
