Its a shame to see that no one can post a positive comment. I was an employee at WWW and enjoyed every minute of it. Mr. Etheredge was a great man to work for and Im sad to see that Wichitans cant support a theme park. When Mr. Etheredge filed bankruptcy, it was chapter 11, meaning he didnt have to pay us. We got paid in full for our work to date. I loved my job and personally think that the employees got to have more fun then the patrons. Im sad to see so many people so negative about 535 people losing their jobs. I'd like to ask: How many of you actually knew Thomas before you made judgments over a news story.

Today, in that Wichita Eagle article, Thomas Etheredge had the chance to come clean, take total responsibility and say that everything was in fact his fault. He didn't and now this will live with him FOREVER.

I know Tom personally and I have never been able to trust him. You can tell a lot about a person just by talking to them for a short period of time. It's funny how Park City evaluates people. First hiring Dennis Rader, then this. Maybe they'll hire some mobster to open their proposed casino.

We lived in Wichita for 7 years in the late 90's and early 00's. Wild West would have been a nice place to visit with our family and it is a shame to see it go under in such a short time. We did not know Etheredge and I am glad for that. He seems too shady and this is something that the city, state and investors should of really checked out prior to approving anything. He claims to have lost personal money on the deal, but I doubt that. He fleeced everyone he could and the money is most likely sitting in some off-shore account. How long before he just disappears when the truth begins to surface.

No surprise. Employees of Wild West World rarely got paid what we were owed from day one.

Only opened for a couple of months, with the thousands of season ticket holders and investors holding the bag...shameful Mr. Etheredge!

Seems to me that Mr Etheredge continues to hide behind the Lord through all of his "endeavors". Shame on you to use our religious community here in Wichita like that. Of course, birds of a feather (and that's in reference to his "friendship" with Terry Fox) sometimes means guilt by association. Let me see, "Family Values" and fraud. Sorry I don't know too many homosexuals who would go out and scam so many innocent people. Another reason not to subscribe to your "family values" scam. There must be a special place in heaven for people like Thomas Etheredge. For his sake I hope he makes it there... isn't looking good at the moment.

Thomas Ethridge came to our entrepreneurship group two years ago and spoke to us about his life and proposed venture. He tried to get me to intern for him for international banking, but I turned it down, because he wouldn't pay and I have a family. His wife and him sure liked to tell his life story and how "successful" he is. I thought he was shady, he sure didn't tell us about his four years of jailtime. Like the last guy said.....Once a crook, always a crook

Gee 4 years for security fraud. That should of raised some eyebrows with park city in the first place. Once a crook always a crook.
