INTRUST Bank Arena General Manager Chris Presson reminds ticket buyers that the lottery system is in place for Saturday’s George Strait and Reba on sale at the INTRUST Bank Arena Box Office.

Presson commented, “The lottery system is implemented in an effort to be fair to all who wish to purchase tickets. Lotteries like this are relatively standard in markets anticipating high demand for events. It eliminates the need for camping out and ensures everyone has a fair chance to be first in line.”

Tickets will also be available at all Select-A-Seat outlets, by phone at 316-755-SEAT and online at www.selectaseat.com.

The lottery process at the Arena is outlined below:

Camping Out: Camping out is not necessary and is not permitted. No line will be allowed to form until 7 a.m.

Purpose of Lottery:

  • Helps to prevent scalping

  • Helps to maintain the order of the line

  • Ensures everyone a fair chance to be the first in line

  • Prevents lines from interfering with other events at INTRUST Bank Arena

    Standard Lottery Policy:

  • Only one raffle ticket will be issued per person

  • If a person takes more than one raffle ticket, they will be disqualified

  • Individuals must be at least 12 years old to participate

  • Persons who arrive after the lottery must go to the end of the line

    7 a.m.: line forms

9 a.m.: raffle tickets are issued

    9:30 a.m.: lottery drawing

    10 a.m.: on-sale begins

    Lottery Procedure:

Every person who arrives before 9:30 a.m.* will be issued a raffle ticket. Please note, however, that a raffle ticket only guarantees a place in line – not a ticket. At 9:30 a.m.* the tickets are shuffled, and one ticket is drawn. The person who has the matching ticket number becomes the first person in line. Everyone else stays in numerical order, and those with lower ticket numbers go to the end of the line.

*All times are based on a standard 10 a.m. on-sale. The times and the location of where the line should form may vary due to the number of participants anticipated, weather conditions, or other event requirements. Signs will be clearly posted at the INTRUST Bank Arena Box Office prior to the on-sale.

Lottery Example: 400 people are issued raffle tickets for an on-sale. The number 211 is drawn during the lottery. The person holding ticket number 211 becomes the first in line. Everyone stays in numerical order. The person with 212 becomes the second, 213 third, and so on. Those with ticket numbers 1-210 simply line up behind the person with ticket number 400.
