East Central Loan Smart Robbed
Wichita police are looking for two men suspected of robbing the Loan Smart payday loan and cash outlet located at 1716 East Central Wednesday.

Wichita police are looking for two men suspected of robbing the Loan Smart payday loan and cash outlet located at 1716 East Central Avenue Wednesday.

Witnesses at the scene say two men entered the outlet at about 5:30 p.m., threatened employees with a long wood handled gun and demanded money.

Two men fled the scene in a dark colored vehicle. No one was injured.

The men are described as two black males in their early 20s, one man 6 ft, weighing about 160 pounds with hazel or green eyes wearing a gray sweater and blue jeans, the other man is described as standing about 5 ft 10 inches and weighing about 200 pounds, clean shaven and wearing a brown coat.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding the robbery to contact 911 or Crime Stoppers at 267-2111. As always when contacting Crime Stoppers the caller may remain anonymous and can receive a reward for up to $1000 for information leading to the arrest of the suspects.
