A Wichita man has been charged for a high speed chase that ended in a crash in east Wichita.

Prosecutors charged Brian Tastad, 29, in Sedgwick County District Court today. Tastad is charged with aggravated battery, fleeing or attempting to leave an officer and reckless driving.

Police said they chased Tastad's truck Friday after clocking it at 100 miles per hour. The chase ended when the truck struck another vehicle on Kellogg near Webb Road. A dash camera in one of the police cars captured the chase and crash on videotape.

Tasted's bond is set at $5,000.
