Snow Moves Out; Wind Remains
Snow should move out of Kansas today.

The snowfall has moved out of Western and Central Kansas, but the gusty northerly winds will remain.
A wind advisory is in effect until 5 p.m. Expect winds at 25-35 mph with gusts close to 50 mph.
A blizzard warning is in effect for NE Kansas, including Emporia and Manhattan until 6 p.m. Those areas could see an additional 1-3 inches of snow.
Some highways in the Northeast Corner of Kansas, near the Nebraska border, are closed to drifting snow. Other highways in Eastern Kansas, including the Kansas Turnpike and i-35 are completely snowpacked. You can find more travel information by clicking on related links.
