53-Year-Old Ellis Man Dead After Accident
A 53-year-old Ellis man is dead following a two-vehicle accident at the Ellis/Trego County Line Thursday afternoon.

A 53-year-old Ellis man is dead following a two-vehicle accident at the Ellis/Trego County Line Thursday afternoon.

The Ellis County Sheriffs Department says a pickup being driven by the 53-year-old man was southbound on 100th Avenue, when it was struck by another pickup driven by a 36-year-old man from Hays.

The 53-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver was transported to Hays Medical Center where his condition is unknown.

The name of the 53-year-old man is being held pending notification of relatives.
